By using Vextal ("the app") at vextal.life you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Vextal is developed and operated by Adam Hamza ("we").
Vextal is a free personal dashboard that displays your own school, fitness, financial, and personal data in one place. Some modules are under active development with published target dates; features may change, appear, or be temporarily unavailable at any time.
You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for your Google account security and for your school portal credentials. You agree to connect only your own accounts — accessing another person's Aspen, Google, or bank account through Vextal is prohibited and may be unlawful. Without signing in, the app runs in guest mode and stores nothing.
You agree not to: attempt to access other users' data; probe, overload, scrape, or disrupt the service or the school portals it connects to; reverse the app for malicious purposes; or use Vextal to violate your school's technology policies. We may suspend access that threatens the service or other users.
Grades, GPA figures, projections, and schedules are retrieved from your district's Aspen portal and processed automatically. They are informational only and not an official academic record. Your school's official systems are always authoritative. GPA projections are estimates, not promises.
The Finances module displays balances via Plaid for personal awareness only. Vextal provides no financial, investment, or banking advice and cannot move money.
Vextal is an independent student project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Follett/Aspen, Google, Plaid, Clever, or any school district. Third-party services you connect are governed by their own terms.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on information displayed in the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $0 — the amount you paid for this free service.
Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
You can stop using Vextal at any time; Profile → REMOVE ACCOUNT wipes your device and you may email us to delete server-side data. We may modify these terms; the effective date above will change and material updates will be noted in the app. Continued use means acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
